California front windows stay 70% by default — that is why the fronts start clear. Rear glass can go as dark as you like. 70% = no film.

Audio MotorSports cuts film on a glass board, then applies it. We do not cut on your glass. We do not run a plotter pattern from a year-make-model database and trim it short so it clears the gasket. That hairline of light at the edge is the plotter tell. Micro edge means the film sits to the gasket.
Tesla tint installation on curved EV glass is why this matters for Wilmington and Harbor City cars the same as a Carson walk-in. The 3, Y, S, X, and Cybertruck are not the same pattern.
California 70% VLT fronts stay light. Front side windows must allow 70% of visible light. Darker rears are legal. Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, and Rolling Hills Estates owners still walk the shade in the shop, not from a photo. Ceramic still cuts heat on a legal front.

Ceramic is non-metal. That is why Tesla owners pick it over a dyed metal film. We do not invent a range percentage.
Tesla glass roof tint is a quote. It is not inside the doors-and-back number. Hand-cut on a board when the glass allows a clean piece.
Solar Ceramic windshield is $189 on a Model 3, Model S, or Model Y. Model X and Cybertruck windshields are $399. 3M Ceramic IR windshield is $299 on 3, S, and Y, $499 on X and Cybertruck. Separate from the doors.
